Valley Bank of Commerce is a locally owned and operated bank. Valley Bank’s primary mission has been to serve the banking needs of Roswell as well as Chaves County, and this continues to be the primary driving force behind the bank today. Valley Bank is an independent bank and fully intends to remain independent. The bank has built a reputation of conservative soundness that has served it well. Through the years our bank has enjoyed higher quality leadership and staff than its competitors, and this has helped the bank to increase its share of the local banking market. In October 1985 Valley Bank opened its North branch at the intersection of Main Street and Country Club Road and then in October 1998 established a branch in Dexter to provide the people of Dexter and Hagerman with a local bank.
